The Casey Half Marathon is organized by Naor Cohen, founder and general manager of the Casey Base Camp, organizer of the AeroVenture event and triathlete himself. The Casey Half Marathon will be held annually on the Sunday of the Labor Day long weekend during the AeroVenture event. This amalgamation of events is a perfect marriage making the Casey Half Marathon not just a race but a weekend event where visitors can enjoy nature, conferences, workshops, exhibitors, daytime and evening entertainment, and hundreds of airplanes on display. Imagine a race in the heart of the Haute Mauricie bush country with thousands of spectators cheering on the runners surrounded by nature and Cold War era ruins!
