There are others a little further also at various altitudes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ATTENTION:<\/strong>\u00a0The runway is located in the middle of the forest and used by motorists year round.\u00a0There may be presence of debris or even incursions of the track, especially by wildlife.\u00a0Throughout the year we ask you to be vigilant, but the final decision to use the runway is up to you.\u00a0During events, our team makes sure to inspect the track and remove as much debris as possible, this does not remove your responsibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Night landing:<\/strong> It is strictly forbidden to land at Casey at night.\u00a0There are no lights on the runway, we are in the middle of the forest, it is pitch dark.\u00a0Don&#8217;t even try![\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;804&#8243; wide by 2300&#8242; long with a curve at the south end and a bridge at the north.\u00a0Landing on the Ruban River is quite spectacular, but requires a lot of experience, be careful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Runway:<\/strong>\u00a004\/22 (approximately) \u2013 2300&#8242; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1618433502012{padding-top: 30px !important;background-color: #f1f6fc !important;}&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Road \u2013 via La Tuque<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p>We strongly recommend that you go to Casey via the Town of LaTuque.\u00a0It is a beautiful road, well groomed and safe, but remember that you are driving on forest roads and that there are instructions to follow.\u00a0Forest roads are used by logging companies and belong to them so they have priority.\u00a0In addition, it is highly recommended to have a CB radio on channel 10 to communicate your position, especially since the bridges are all one lane.\u00a0<strong>CB Channel 10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>New signs will be installed from June 2021 to guide you in the last 15-20 kilometers.<br \/>\n<strong>Directions from La Tuque:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chemin Fitzpatrick North to Chemin Moisan<\/li>\n<li>Chemin Moisan on the left, this is Route Foresti\u00e8re 25 (461)<\/li>\n<li>Stay on Route 25 until KM 103<\/li>\n<li>At KM 103 turn left towards Parent (you will see a lot of signs)<\/li>\n<li>At KM 138 turn right (you will see the Camp de Base Casey sign).<\/li>\n<li>Ride 10km and\u2026 Welcome to Base Camp Casey<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We strongly recommend that you write down the directions and enter them into your GPS before you leave.\u00a0You will lose all telephone\/WiFi signal as soon as you embark on route 25 in LaTuque, therefore 150km with no external contact.<br \/>\nThe road is spectacular, take your time, riding the forest roads is part of the experience![\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;887&#8243;
